The Saskatoon Chinese Alliance church In early 1960, Pastor Augusta Chao of Regina Chinese Alliance Church came to the University Drive (Dircle Drive) Alliance Church and shared a vision to plant a Chinese church in Saskatoon. Prior to the church being officially organized in 1969, a number of wel-known CCACC pastors are credited for their pioneering work. The early pioneers include Rev. Arthur Louis, Rev. K. O. Lau & Rev. Daniel Ng.
The church targeted the student population at the university in teh early years. As a result, a good number of students dedicated their lives and entered full-time ministries. As time progressed, the church also began ministering among new immigrant families as well as the newly-arrived Indo-China refugees. In 1989, the church began to explore ministries opportunities among Mainland Chinese scholars.
A number of pastors have laboured faithfully throughout the past thirty years. It is our wish and desire to remember and give thanks to all who serve God through this church.
